Went and looked at acoustic electrics at lunch today, really liked the Yamaha I played. Liked the Taylor as well, but I don't think I could convince my wife of the price tag that came with it. The Yamaha also felt really nice in my hands. It was a little bright, but nothing that could not be corrected with the EQ and a stiffer pick.

Thinking about getting a low end Behringer amp to practice with since we have professional equipment at the church to plug into.

One of the guys I play with just picked up a Martin from a pawn shop for $250 including the case, it was in mint condition too. Sounds amazing.

I have a Seagull acoustic. It had by far the best sound/tone of the lower priced acoustics I played...sounded like a guitar a few price levels up from where it was.

My yamaha plays real stiff, regardless of string selection, but oh man does it have a beautiful deep sound. I don't know what they did, but if you play it right it sounds almost like a piano.

I played a Seagull today as well, but the one I played was over a grand.... It sounded great though.

This one EQ'ed you could have it either way, and the built in tuner was just icing on the cake.
