Bears traded the farm for Cutler. The pass rusher they picked up from Tampa for the 2nd pick ... well ... kinda died.

As a gift from the NFL GODS, there is no salary cap for 2010, so this is their only means of rebuilding. 72M, 6 years for Peppers. 12M, 4 years for Taylor. 5 year deal for Manumaleuna.

They still need a safety, but I'm very pleased.

Mike Martz better get Cutler right, or it'll be the same results next year. oooh the Bears need some better OL too.

The entire front office and coaching staff is on notice in Chicago. This is what happens when you have people in desperation mode to save their jobs.

as a pats fan I fear the Jets and am resigned to the fact that the pats are in a rebuilding year as the Jets are going to take the AFC east easily. what team is going to be able to throw on them now?

Pretty sure Vanden Bosch is signing with the Lions, not the Bears.

It's nice to see a team other than the Redskins wasting draft picks and overspending in free agency. Amazing

Im still stuck on the fact that I think tillman would actually make a decent safety.... He can hit and strip the ball, make room for some better pass coverage corners. h:
