because the military teaches you very stringent ethics codes in terms of war. there are very clear rules as to what is and isn't ok after times of war are declared.

sorry john, i havent served and i know that's not true. the military takes that training very seriously. sit down and talk with your pa if hes willing, he will definetely change your mind.

I was watching the news last night and they gave a report that the helicopter shown in that pic was destroyed by the US with a guided missle. I wonder how many of those Iraqi's were standing by it when it got hit.

lol, yeah, i wonder if they realized that was coming. its cool they didnt try to move it, it makes it much easier for us to destroy it.

it bothers me we dont have some sort of auto destruct for our shit like you see on the movies with spacecraft and things?

Have you ever been shot at? I will safely assume the answer to that is "no." Please do not try and lecture me on what I would or wouldn't do in that situation.... you have NO IDEA.

I have been down range when the bullets started flying. Was I slow enough to be hit? No.

Congratulations.

I didn't have the chance to know where the shots came from or that a 13 year old kid had taken them while my back was turned...trust me it hurts and its the last thing you want to experience.

I have also seen friends of mine die from being shot, I have taken friends t the hospital for stabbings, shots, brutal beatings etc.

a lot of people on here speak of war as though its nothing but have never experienced the things that go with it....it gets tiring after a while.

BTW these things happened on US soil...it was just part of growing up in America I guess.

I'm sorry you had a rough childhood, but what does this have to do with war? I've had my ass handed to me quite a few times growing up, but that has no bearing here. Ok, I'll admit I assumed you had never been shot at and I was wrong. However, when you are in a combat situation, its not personal. You wouldn't know anything about it.
