so, its been 10weeks now..

went to the gym for the first time since .. hit the stationary bike for about 30minutes.. i lost so much muscle.. the bones still arent fully healed, but its stable .. kinda scary being in close proximity with people who dont know you're injured (kept worrying some meathead was going to push me over.. )

Congrats on the positive progress. Just tune out the rest of the world when you're at the gym. "No one can see you"... at least that's what I tell myself.

Good shit man. 9.5 weeks for me, went to the doc yesterday. It's not quite healed yet, but there's a huge calcium buildup around it. He said I'm good to start working out again and playing golf....but no contact sports. I guess no spring riding for me.

Did my first mini lifting workout yesterday....fuck I'm so weak. I did some light incline DB presses and regular DB presses, lat PDs and one arm DB rows...along with some ab stuff. I could feel stress in the bone on the incline presses, but it didn't hurt. Flat presses felt fine. Going to start slow and gradually get back to where I was....it's basically like starting from scratch. Still going to do shoulder rehab exercises on days I don't lift.

Collarbone is notorious for going to non-union. If there is a black line through the middle of your "calcium deposit"(actually bone callus) you may be heading for hypertrophic non-union.

On the ankle, one of the biggest things will be ROM(Range of Motion), getting rid of the stiffness. Also of concern will be strength and proprioception, or the ability to know the position of the foot relative to the leg. Spelling out the alphabet with you big toe by moving your foot, circles with big toe in both directions, standing on one foot(have something to grab so you don't fall and bust your ass).

strength every other day, ROM and proprioception every day, go way light on weights to start, easy to hurt yourself and lose ground.
