Missed opprotunity?

Again, Minh was FIRST betrayed by Truman. That set the stage. You can't change that fact.
Simply because Eisenhower followed, you want to blame the GOP? The flaw in that logic is that I could counter that since Kennedy and Johnson followed, the Democrats should be blamed.
Name calling??? Give me a break. Saying you have a liberal slant is name calling? Wondering if and how you protested is name calling? Sheesh. If I called you a f*****g d**k, that, I agree would be name calling. But, quite frankly, I haven't stooped to your level.
Well.
I think it was last night or this morning on the news... Some Fox reporter said that there was frantic digging at the site of the first bombing run (3/19), and people were busting out the stretchers and shiet. "They" are confident that Saddam was one of those people carried out on a stretcher and into an ambulance. As of now, no one is sure whether he is dead or not.

Fact? What fact? Repeating the same vague claim over and over will never make it a fact. If you're denying that Ho had any contact with US officials during WWII, please provide something to substantiate your claim.

Regardless of how you choose to redefine it, what you have been doing is attacking the person rather than the issue.
BTW, my ability to accept truth has nothing to do with what I think of you or anyone else. Don't flatter yourself. You're not that important.

Now, who's putting words in whose mouth? I never did say that Minh never had contact with US officials during WWII. In fact, it is quite well known that he did. All I ever questioned, or pointed out, was how quick you were to place blame on the GOP leadership in dealing with Minh. I will give you the fact that Eisenhower or the US may have screwed him over when Vietnam was divided in 1954. However, Truman was President in 1945 when the US asked the French to reestablish its imperial control over Indochina. This occurred after Minh declared Vietnam's independence when Japan surrendered to the allies. This is the FACT that I have referred to.
You can't be serious? This coming from you? That was no attack. However, your double-standard in this issue is so overwhelming it's unbelievable. Go back and look at some of the threads you've been involved in. You don't hesitate to attack, name-call, or label, but you are the first to whine and cry about it if someone says "boo" to you. DVPGSR pointed this out rather nicely with a post (in a different "on-topic" thread) that questioned your claim of following the golden rule and if YOU wanted to continue with the attacks.
