time for new tires
Would not buy again...Had them on the RSX-s got real noisy real fast and did not have adequate tread life. Performance was a let down after they had a few thousand on them. I liked them at first but as they wore down they turned to crap.

Really? I have heard nothing but good things, though my buddy has only had them on his WRX for about 8-9k miles.
Damn, I'm going there from now on. I always order my tires from tire rack (no sales tax and cheaper prices ftw). But discount charges twice that. They charge a fucking demount fee if you don't buy your tires from them.

I bought them because I needed tires and I couldn't afford to replace the GS-d3s that I had on the RSX-s. They were a compromise and they should have lasted a lot longer than they did. I had 225/45/Z17 and they were about $100 per tire installed. They lasted two seasons, and were so noisy that you couldn't hear anything in the car above 55-60 mph. Granted we drove a lot of miles, around 15-18K per year. I got about $25 per tire as a trade in when I bought the Continental ContiExtremeContacts, same size but they are an Ultra High Performance All Season. More aggressive tread, not nearly as noisy. If I had an all wheel drive like a Subie I would put the Continentals on in a heartbeat. You do give up a little at the extreme with them but otherwise they are a great tire.

they didn't even charge me the $20 TPMS reset, just the 12.50 per tire
I have used Nitto NeoGens on two cars and like them a lot, Yokohama Advans were great, except the only last 10k miles. Now I roll the Dunlop DSSTs
