I bought them because I needed tires and I couldn't afford to replace the GS-d3s that I had on the RSX-s. They were a compromise and they should have lasted a lot longer than they did. I had 225/45/Z17 and they were about $100 per tire installed. They lasted two seasons, and were so noisy that you couldn't hear anything in the car above 55-60 mph. Granted we drove a lot of miles, around 15-18K per year. I got about $25 per tire as a trade in when I bought the Continental ContiExtremeContacts, same size but they are an Ultra High Performance All Season. More aggressive tread, not nearly as noisy. If I had an all wheel drive like a Subie I would put the Continentals on in a heartbeat. You do give up a little at the extreme with them but otherwise they are a great tire.
