I'm pretytu happy that there is no inspection needed here

But seams to me that the whole inspection thing is a major conflict of interest. I mean the same dude that can pass or fail your car is the dude that gets paid if you fail and need repairs in order to pass. WTF

I totally agree. If they're going to have state inspections, then there needs to be state people inspecting the cars. People that don't make money off potential repairs.

sure they wanted to raper you to fix it but everything they failed you for were actual safety issues. it's not like they tried to sell you headlight fluid.

So you're telling me that you do not see the conflict of interest in this situation? what if the client is not mechanically inclined?

I agree that it's a conflict of interest but the dealership was not abusing it's power either since any legitimate shop would have failed him for the same things.

probably i was pointing out the conflict of interest on the whole system not just this dealership. But if i had to pass inspections you can be sure i wouldn't bring it to a dealership just some shitty ass corner garage which i could potentially corrupt h:

Uh... I would like to say that I just got done looking at my bushings, and they're not torn. They are worn, and have some minor cracks, but they're totally safe and usable.
