I used to rock a WGP autococker when I played all the time. You should look into some of there other guns. www.worr.com

The few times i've played, I've used a Tippman A5. Absolutely loved that marker...and woodsball / capture the flag was my preference.

I had a tippmann 95 it was very good except it was loud as shit. i also have a original minimag and an autococker.

for a good reliable starter package i would go with a tippmann. their shit doesn't break and if it does you send it in and they overhaul your marker for you before sending it back.

also i don't know if it has changed but in the old days they recommended taking a shower with your marker to clean it h:

^^ I'd crawl through mud, water, etc and the A5 would still fire true. Awesome, durable stuff

I still play myself. I have an 06 autococker that I rock out with and I have an Ion that is super reliable as well. If you plan to play speed/hyperball DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET A TIPMAN. You will get raped. I would recommend a smartparts ion as a starter gun. They're relatively inexpensive and are pretty damn reliable. If you're going to get a gun do not get one that uses Co2 you want a gun that uses compressed air. The Co2 guns freeze up and create moisture in the barrel which in turn makes for a very inaccurate marker. I would not recommend getting a new autococker they've been crap since brass eagle took over their production line. As far as goggles go, I use the v-force grill. Never once have these goggles fogged on me. They're a little pricey at 69 bucks but, you get what you pay for. If you want good deals on gear go here http://www.paintball-online.com/. I've never had a problem ordering from these guys and they're quick to get things out.

do they not have simple thermal goggles anymore? thermal lens = dual panel and they do not fog up.

also liquid co2 only negatively affects a marker if said marker is not designed to use liquid or can't tolerate it. tipmann 95/98 has no trouble with liquid co2. in fact in my days people would use a siphon tube to make sure their tipmann draws liquid which gave a much consistent shot to shot.

Everybody has gone electronic now, with 3500psi tanks. Your best bet is to pick up used guns on pbnation. Dynasty shockers are good used guns, same with Ego's.

Nobody uses mechanical anymore, like autocockers and stuff

Speedball is for pussies who don't know tactical play.

I loved playing in "big games"

well big games by our standard here was 100 v 100. the biggest one was 250 vs 300. I was on the 250 side and 10 guys from a pro team was on that side which is why the other side got more people... not that it made a difference.

to finish off the day, it was 50 vs everyone else... fox vs hounds game. I some how got picked to be on the fox side (all of the pros were fox). I think we got about 400-450 before the last fox was eliminated.
