I like this.
and you wouldn't bring this to the chief's attention because...?

I would bring the subject up because that is a pretty serious character concern. If he is going to stab you in the back and cause issues for a person he has known for years then what will he do to the people in the firehouse and what safety concerns might it raise in the future?

I would give him the 50 bucks and call it a lesson, but I would most definitely be having a chat with the chief simply as a concern of the house.

Check your FB bro.

"We can do the hub for 100 and rotor and breaks for probably 50. Might not even need a rotor. And all it'll cost u is 50 bucks at a2dafuckenj's garage!"

He mentioned the $50 upfront..... Unless I'm reading it wrong?

Yeah I agree, I know some other people are a little leary of him too, only thing is I cannot express my concern via a vote since Im a probie, but I will talk to him and seek counsel from some of the other firemen. We've already got a kid none of us like, but we have to treat him fairly since he is in the 'brotherhood'.

Will do, thanks for the insight.

If you dont plan on being friends then tell him no.
He did ask IF you could give him 50 for this.

Last time I checked, IF, doesnt mean you have to.
