So I'm thinking Hyundai
man, the updated Sonata from i believe '09 and especially the Genesis are sweet. i've sat in both and things were done quite nicely. back in late '07 i was issued an older '06 Sonata as a rental when my AP1 got rear-ended. the interior of THAT one was pretty meeh. but like i said, the updated version is almost completely different. and yeah, the Genesis is awesome for the money.
although i haven't sat/driven the Coupe i'm willing to bet it's not a far cry from what Hyundai's been recently up to. that, plus the warranty you mentioned, and i don't see why getting one wouldn't be worth serious consideration
i used to hate Hyundai. now, not so much

ur thinking of the Genesis sedan. as someone earlier stated, completely different from the coupe. and no, in korea these are not the benz. these are more like the lexus. there are more S55/S63s in seoul than i ever saw in beverly hills. its all new money. we even saw a friggin lambo reventon in seoul. i have yet to ever see one in beverly hills/palos verdes/malibu here.
current gen hyundai quality is on par, if not above, toyota/honda/nissan now. old hyundais were crappy though. tiburon was a joke from its birth.
like the honda crosstour is better looking? accord sedan? insight? or acuras entire lineup? how about sentra? altima?
almost every non-luxury brand has ugly ass cars these days. design-wise, ford and hyundai seem to be the only ones churning out decent looking cars.
I've had a couple friends that have owned Tiburon's in the past and they always had issues. Plus I've had a rental car or two, even the V6 sedan (forget the name) and had a door handle fall off in my hand.
Maybe I just ran into the lemons but first impressions weren't favorable.
