Somebody tried to steal my GSR sedan from the parking lot in front of Borders books at the Pavillions here in Sacramento on Christmas eve, but were interrupted. Glad it is never parked outside at night or it would have been gone a long time ago. I have taken to leaving a piece of paper on the dash to obscure the VIN. It is parked outside at the office during the day, I keep expecting to come out and find it gone.

Can someone fill me in, what makes Integras and civics so appealing to thieves? I know that Benz's and BMW are pretty stealable and parts from those cars are much pricier.

A- easy to steal
B- they're reliable cars, so the demand for them (and their parts) is still high. high demand = high used parts prices
C- everyone has them
D- parts interchangability

This. Think about how many civics/integras you see on the road compared to benz/bmw.
