ok i know that this is going to sound stupid but it really works, if you have the after market exhaust on there get a cherry bomb and put it between the cat and the muffler, it really is quieter and when it revs all you really hear is a flow of air

i used to have one (stock on ex) and backed over a curb on accident and away it went (didn't realize it was gone until a few days later). now my exhaust just looks crappy.

actually, it's 2....d3....d4 h:

and on my older accord (auto also), the 1-2-3-4 shifting hurt the tranny.
