How is their (private) health care system any different from previous generations, or for that matter any different than any other private, employer sponsored health care coverage?

It would be ridiculous to think that it is fair for members of the executive branch to use the public health option. Similar to the president flying coach on a commercial airliner.

No president, nor their family, have ever been on medicaid, regardless of political affiliation.

my health care plan includes all the motrin i want. it cures everything apparently. from the common cold to broken bones. :hs:

The fact that it leaves an exclusion for those who hold office is the catch here, not whether or not they exercise the public option. It is simply that they are exempt from the law makes it wholly unconstitutional.

Except for there is no law that says they HAVE to use it. The above law, stated as a case against politicians, does not say they must use it and is being misinterpreted.

Seriously, I don't see what the big deal is. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. I have insurance through my employer. I'm good with that.
