How is their (private) health care system any different from previous generations, or for that matter any different than any other private, employer sponsored health care coverage?
It would be ridiculous to think that it is fair for members of the executive branch to use the public health option. Similar to the president flying coach on a commercial airliner.
No president, nor their family, have ever been on medicaid, regardless of political affiliation.
The fact that it leaves an exclusion for those who hold office is the catch here, not whether or not they exercise the public option. It is simply that they are exempt from the law makes it wholly unconstitutional.
