This place is pretty dope. It is set under a hill in a cave. You can get a couples massage there. The place is very relaxing. What I loved most, although its not coed, is the steam room and jetted tubs. You can hang out in there prior to your treatments. They also have a very kick ass shower...I am talking big overhead shower head with multiple jets running down from all sides And its not too expensive
that looks like a really cool place, but it seems like a far drive for just a massage. our hotel does in-room spa treatments, so i think i'm gonna just order that.

Along with what Rich said, the SF Zoo is awesome, as is Golden Gate Park. The Park has all kinds of cool stuff to do and see...Academy of Sciences, Conservatory of Flowers, etc. You can rent segways to take through the park. Another cool thing to do is rent a scooter/car type thing for a GPS self tour of the city. My brother did it once and said it was really fun.

well you picked the worse time to visit but i guess it's not like you can change the anniversary date :chuckles:

i would look for 95% indoor stuff with minimal outdoor stuff this time of the year.

yeah, i know it's not an awesome time, but it's something we've wanted to do for a little while now, whatever happens happens.

here's my plans so far: pick her up at lunch time and drive up. maybe have the couples massage that night to get us in relax mode. maybe wlk to north beach sat morning, maybe hayes valley. basically hanging around the city. then go see wicked that night. sunday will be more hanging in the city, china town, japantown, and then the pier with an alcatraz night tour and dinner after that. then we'll leave on monday taking our time, hanging by the wharf or something before we go.

it's hard because i want to do a mix between seeing stuff around the city, but also have it be somewhat relaxing. we'll probably just have to wing most of it once we're there and see how the weather is.

Winter weather in SF is often better than it is in the summer time. There are more blue sky days than in the summer.

It's foggier in the summer time in SF...at least by the coast and GG bridge. And it's still cold in the summer time o:
