HAN's opinion v.tark
good input
I was hoping to find a manual because frankly I've never met an automatic I liked. I've been driving in heavy traffic lately doing the denver/boulder commute in my g20, which has ample transmission problems of it's own, and I'm still satisfied driving a manual in stop and go. I can't see getting the same level of enjoyment from an auto once I'm out of town and in the mountains. I've also never had very good luck with automatics in the snow. I guess I just need to drive an auto and see whether it will be OK, or just piss me off whenever I drive it
h: Plus, like 95% of the used g35's out there are automatic. :/

my wife had a 03 infinity g35, it was pretty nice daily. It was an automatic, but the gearing is pretty decent and the brakes were pretty nice as well. This was when i had my TL, and between the two i would still choose my TL, dont know if you looked in that direction yet as it might be tricky in your price range, but I loved that car
