Default Official help me decide my future car

I know I posted a couple of threads already so I figured I'd start a new all included thread. So I'm still on the escape/impreza/forester at around 5-8k or I shed more for MDX/Murano. But I also noticed that there are some nice 2001-02 A6 out there. So what about the A6?

youre all over the frikkin place. ive never seen anyone have a ford escape, impreza, mdx, murano, and an A6 all in the same category. none of these are even in the same frikkin class besides the escape/murano.

murano is an ugly piece of shit btw. better off getting an mdx. i cant believe ur considering between an mdx and a murano. thats like comparing a tsx to a versa. WHY?!

have to agree with will

choices are too spread out

since you have the budget ready, what do you want out of the car ? performance? mileage? long lasting quality?
hatch? coupe? sedan? SUV?

you have to narrow down more

I agree with you guys I'm all iverthe place on this one. I did not want to spend alot so that why I was looking at the escape and Subaru. But then I got carried away and figured if the value is there why not go for the mdx or murano. Then I saw the A6 and figured that would totally be pimping!

Like I posted before what I'm looking for is:

-reliable
-easy to park in snow banks and small streets
-I'd like it to be comfy
-as economical as possible
-cheapest to insure and maintain
-should last me a good 4-5years befoe rust or total engine failure

that's what I'm looking for. Got some great suggestion till now. I just wanted to know if you guys had any experiences with the a6? Searched reviews and what not and surprisingly they look pretty reliable.

I'd vote against the A6, I'd be really scared of the reliability of any A6 that you could find for under $8k. An 8 year old high-end Audi is 1 puddle away from short-circuiting all of its electronics.

Buy a Forester or a CRV. For what you are looking for they would be perfect. The Escape is decent, but it's not going to be nearly as comfortable as the Forester or CRV.

buy forester or suv man. gas mileage may not be best but it does what you want. keep integra for summer.
