i'm paying mine off. i think it's three years no interest on purchases over $999.

Which TV did you get? I was looking and just about applied for the BB card then closed the browser. If I'm going to go that route, I may as well get the best TV slightly over $1000. 46" samsung i believe w/ free blu-ray player was in the cart.

i also got a new xbox 360 elite that day. was about to get a ps3 for blu-ray, but opted not to.

i just went to the store and they did it in like two minutes.

buying the tv and getting it although... six hours or so.

 

why so long a wait?

 

well we went to one store. this was me, my girl and two of my friends. we had been drinkin'.

they didn't have the tv there, but the store across town did. so after an hour of hangin' out at the one store and ordering it and calling the other store to find it and buying the xbox, we left. we drove to the next store that was a half hour away. found someone to get the tv for us. tried to fit into two cars we had.

the guy we had helping us was just laughing at me that it wouldn't fit in the car and was giving me shit about taking it out of the box.

he had a terrible speech impediment as well which was pissing me off. at one point i looked at him and said 'stop fucking laughing' and he laughed, so i said 'i'm fucking serious, stop.' and walked away.

so we try to find another car. can't. drive all the way back to the other side of town where we originally were, where i lived at the time to get my friend's mom's car, but decided it wouldn't fit.

i finally decide to call best buy and get it delivered to my house.

they get my info and say they'll call me back to setup a time.

so i'm sitting at my house with my friend pissed off, while my girl and other friend are at the mall gettin' drinks at pizzeria uno.

my friend remembers his brother has a van and they get the tv. with no receipt, no id, nothing. he just walked in and said it was his.

so then they surprised me with my tv.

i called best buy the next day and said 'do you realize you gave my tv away to someone?' they said no, i bitched and said that the guy with the speech impediment was helping us and he did it. in an attempt to get him fired.
