Default Serious come up.

So I bought a 42 LG LCD about a year and a half ago and the LCD unit started going bad. Good thing I bought the extended warranty. I took the old TV to best buy and the guy goes to find me a comparable tv. He takes me back to it and I'm thinking I'm just going to get another 42. Instead, it turns out to be a 47in that is leaps and bounds better than the one I'm replacing.

Here is the replacement...

For those of you that don't pony up for the extra warranty, this should make you think twice...

Best Buys Black Tie Protection is the WORSE right now.

Just know that'll probably not happen again lol. Any TV over 26" has to have it looked at in-home. Only time they will actually replace it is if the part either doesnt exist or outweighs the price of the TV. I'm going to guess you had the Product Replacement Plan. That was cool back then cus I use to trade up on 360's all the time. Now, there service plans aren't worth it.

I hope you see in the irony in why said plans are now "not worth it".

I actually had the product service plan. The tech came to my house and assessed the situation and found that the tv couldn't be repaired.
