At that point I would either open the box myself and do the fix Drew did, or say fuck it and buy a new one since it has the better processor and upgraded brackets.

 

i would if the warranty was up. the console is still covered under the 3 year RROD warranty, since the last time it red ringed was a year ago... it just keeps extending my damn warranty. i didnt want to call the lame service dept. and doing the same routine "did you do this and this and this". went to request a label online and sent them a pretty harsh message along with it. let's see if i get at least a "jasper" unit in return this time.

Peter played MW2 on Family Guy tonight...

 

Just got annoyed by a douche doing the tactical insertion snipe no-talent-ass-clown thing on Highrise...where you climb above the map on the C side and just pop a tactical insertion and you are set unless someone AC-130's up there or predator missiles up there. Dude was terrible. Got 8 kills used his emergency airdrop and it gave him 2 predator missiles, harriers, and Chopper Gunner from it. So frakking annoying.

 

Easy solution... up your aim and shoot the mofo when hes distracted I had a game with 3 people up there. Little did they know I had a predator on the way :chuckles:

 

That was my mission for the rest of the game. I sniped him like 7 times, but everytime I did someone killed me. Looking back I should have ignored him to get my predator and poof.

It's probably lifetime if you bought the additional Best Buy coverage. For Microsoft it is 3 years for RROD. The standard warranty is 1 year. Your warranty status is under your account on xboxlive.com.

I just got my shipping label today. They freaking going cheap now.

Last 2 times came with a box, return label, packaging material and 3 DAY shipping via UPS. Now they just send you a ground shipping label. I am assuming they are not going to refund me a month of xbox live either when I get it back

 

I haven't played much lately. I'm picking up BFBC2 tonight.
