Nope. Verizon is hands down the best coverage provider out there. I prefer good service over dropped calls

I need to figure out what the cheapest data plan is they have. And if I can include texting in it.

Cheapest two Verizon options are:

PDA/Smartphone Nationwide Email 450 - $79.99 (plus whatever text plan you want, $5 for 250, $10 for 500, etc)
PDA/Smartphone Nationwide Email & Messaging 450 - $99.99 (includes unlimited text)

This is pretty much the exact same price as AT&T. I used to get unlimited data for $20/month with AT&T thru a little bit of a loophole but that went away when I joined the cult of gadgets named after fruit.

Side note: I just discovered that there's no full-featured Skype app for Android yet. So................that needs to happen before I'd consider jumping ship to the cult of gadgets with names officially licensed from Lucasfilm.

When I was in SD, T-Mobile had better coverage than Verizon...that probably changed in the past few years though.

Up here in the Bay, AT&T has the best coverage.

O.O Wait. Do those include voice plans?
I already have a voice plan with my family and a contract wide texting plan. I just want the data plan.

Those are individual plans w/ voice and data. I didn't look at family plans.
