I remember the day they pulled all inventory of the LV-VX8000. They took the included belt clip OUT of the package, repackaged it for $14.99, then had warehouse put a slip in there that said "due to a printing error, the manual may incorrectly state that a holster is included". It sat where the obvious space for the holster was.
Or, the time users complained about the horrific battery life on the new Moto phones-so verizon put another battery in there, put a sticker on the side that said "bonuse second battery!"-then raised the price $29.99

I installed Android onto my HTC touch and loved it, but my Touch was the old one so a lot of the androids features weren't compatible.... so i had to revert back 
HTC touchscreens fail too much.
Haven't had much experience Motorola phones, but aren't they usually stripped down and featureless right?

So I'm thinking of picking up the new Motorola Droid from Verizon when it comes out(Rumored Thursday). I have an iPod Touch and love it and wanted to get an iPhone, but then I heard about this phone.
Tell me about Android.
Do you like Android?(Pros and cons)
How is their 'app store'? Prices? Good range of apps?
Any of you come from or gone to an iPod touch or iPhone?
I've heard Android 1.0 or whatever is lacking. This phone will be the first to offer 2.0 for the new few months.

I'm going to be picking up the droid, but I might wait a week or two and see how the HTC droid phone is.

gf has the mytouch, she loves it except she needs a real keyboard she can feel. so she is downgrading to the g1, im just glad she finally got rid of her sidekick. ive played around with it and its nice very smooth and quick. i have the andriod theme for my bb storm and like the interface. not a bad phone if you like full touch screen.
