that might be true, but all-clad cost a grip.

Do you have any cast iron skillets? lodge makes a really nice affordable skillet that works awesome. America Test Kitchen rated the lodge as the best buy.

I heart Lodge, I have a large and small dutch oven from them and a skillet...come to think of it my skillet needs to be re-seasoned.

I thought the more you use it the more it continues to season?

as for spices, have any of you guys ever gotten stuff rom the spicehouse?
www.spicehouse.com
by far the best spices I've ever had. The deluxe basic kit, BBQ set, some like it hot set, so worth the price you pay. they usually have specials right around november. I use the BBQ and some like it hot spices almost every day. vulcan fire salt is soooooo good, throw on some very hot cajaun on top of that and wow its good.

A saucepan is a saucepan to me. As long as it holds together for several years I couldn't care less if it was $10.

my roommate is mildly retarded and scrubbed it out with DAWN. It must now be re-seasoned. Also I like to scrub them to bare and re-season my cast iron stuff once a year, my dad always did it and that was what I was taught. I dunno if it is right or not, but by now its just force of habit.
