i think honda/acura still has an issue with the rear ones wearing out faster then then fronts...

Shouldn't that be covered under warranty?? All friction parts are covered 100% for the first 15k miles

Nope!
me and the service manager had it out at Honda of Mission Valley
still had to pay 155.00 for the brakes
They fix the transmmisson problem under warranty

Acura covers all friction parts to 15k miles.

They have also had a hell of a time with pad wear. There have been two recalls on the RL front brakes siting rotor material than pad material. Joo lucky though the MDX doesn't seem to have these issues.
