Been with my wife for going on eight years. Got married 4 years ago and bought a house in her home town(200 miles from my hometown) In June she gave me the friends line and announced she was moving out. She did so on July 1st. Now just looking for companionship. Many of our friends down here were her friends so its uncomfortable for me to hang out with them. Many of the women my age went to school with her or know her. Trying to expand my horizons a bit. Met a nice girl from work and hung out a couple of times. My wife ended up calling me while girl and I were out on a buisness dinner and wife started giving me some shit out of the blue(she knows nothing about girl). I got a little quiet for the rest of dinner and girl asked me what was up so I told her about my situation. She offered her advice and is much less talkative to me now.

 

err.. what 'friends line' can a wife give a husband?

 

She basically told me she doesn't have feelings for me anymore, but she thinks I'm a good friend. Nice huh?

 

...yeeeah. last time i checked marriage wasnt just about feelings, it was a commitment to each other as well.

That was right along my lines of thinking too. Unfortunatly, it takes two to make a marriage and when only one wants to try(me), it makes it pretty difficult.
