PS3 or 360...debate continues
im trying to get either one of these within the next 30 days, unless something crazy happens. i just need something to entertain me during my breaks from work or studying, so im not looking to get a hardcore library of titles
i havent been keeping track of stuff like which platform has the best exclusive titles, if any, so any insight into that would be helpful
as of now, in my pretty uninformed condition, i'm leaning more towards getting a PS3. i saw that they dropped their price, which definitely helps. also the fact that i can use it as a bluray player is cool, too
so with that said, would any of you guys care to share your thoughts on how things are looking for either system and other info that might help me in my purchase. also, if there are any screaming deals on older/current games that would be great, too
thanks, ladies <3

word. most of the titles that i've seen that i actually want to play are on both platforms, i.e. RE5, DMC, SF4, etc. are there future titles that'll be must-get games for either system?
also i get the impression that many of the 360 games are online capable and are actually only worth getting if you get Live, which adds a pretty significant fee per month. i'm really not looking to invest in Live although many would say "it's only $50". w/ that said, would it detract a lot from the 360 if i don't get online support?

XBLive provides a lot of update and additional content for games. PS3's network is free, but you can tell. It's slow at everything it does.
Anyways, exactly what John and others said. Buy a PS3 if you don't plan on using it for gaming that much and would rather have the BluRay player.
Buy the 360 if you want a huge selection of game choices.

my fault. i thought it was $50/month and not a year. thaaaat could change everything
k well, the choice seems clear. does anyone know of any sort of deals that are out there for the 360, whether current or future?
