Im horrified. Mortality is something that scares the shit out of me - because it's more or less uncontrollable. We had a discussion in class about suicide and some people call it selfish...well thats right, it is. People are taking control of the most precious decision in life that most feel they cannot control; death.

So yes, dying freaks me out.

 

as for being afraid to die... no. however, this is completely different from gambling with suicide by playing russian roulette. im not afraid to die, but that doesnt mean i want to die either. im more afraid of dying slowly/painfully rather than dying itself.

 

Nope. I wouldn't want to right now since I'd be leaving my wife and kids behind. But if/when no one's depending on me, I wouldn't fear it.
