Be realistic Pete. Why do you give your gun up on a plane then? I know its not "private" property, but if you have to give that up then, dont bring this shit around the mother fucking President. So yes, there should be limits to things of this nature, especially a historical figure as Obama.

I'm just frustrated that guns have this awful stigma attached to them. There are so many people that have never even seen a gun in real life let alone fired one, and many of them are so die hard anti-gun that they make everyone around them panicky when they actually DO see one.

So what, the guy has a gun. He is legally carrying it, he went through all the legal channels to obtain it and to the best knowledge of the State of New Hampshire, there is no reason for him not to be allowed to have it. He is not breaking any laws and just chose to exercise his first amendment right in a different way. Cops have to go through the same process to carry a firearm. Why should he be treated any differently than any other law abiding citizen?

People who use guns to break the law don't register them.

Saying law abiding citizens are dangerous because they have a gun is just not true.

What could they get him on at that point? Are you saying he flipped out two days later and went on a killing spree? Yes? Then whos to say the guy with the legally mounted gun on his hip wont do the same?

Knowing Jesse, he'd try and register some C4 and claim it was his constitutional right to carry it just to see if he could get away with it.

Can you carry a car by your waist? Has a car alone been used at any attempts to kill a pres? To me, it seems that guns have been the weapon of choice.
