i dont think it's selfish to not want kids, but i think it's definitely something that needs to be discussed between the couple. if you're not going to want and she is, it's never gonna work out so might as well just find somebody that also does not want kids.

I was in the position of several of you on here and never wanted kids either. I enjoy life far too much to be tied down by that kind of responsibility. But then I started dating my current g/f and she has a 2 year old daughter. I found out quickly that kids can be much more fun and be much more of a blessing than anything else you have going on in life. I've found that I now want one of my own. But, being 27, I just wish I had started earlier.

Its amazing the things kids do. Plus, why wouldnt you want to have a little annex of yourself running around.
Yeah the responsibility is tough but, what things in life arent.

 

I was in the no kids camp for quite a while then I dated and married a woman with a daughter a few years later she was pregnant and I now have two daughters.
The bitch has been out of my life for quite a while now but those two girls are the best thing to ever happen to me.

To be honest though, if I decide or had decided firmly not to have kids I would just go ahead and commit to my decision and get a vasectomy and avoid any chance.

 

i want 2-3. preferably 2 boys and 1 girl.
