Tarek, your purpose in life is not a companion. The companion is merely a tool to ease your need for purpose. Your purpose is to be selfish for a change. Do things for yourself and not others. You have overfilled the selfless karma cup. It's time to clean it up.

Don't just see the going to Barcelona. Think of how you got there, where you heard about it, what drove you to get on that plane, who was there with you, where the money came from, how many times your laughed and smiled, etc.

This is one of my favorite passages from Tao:
"Thirty spokes share the wheel's hub;
It is the center hole that makes it useful.
Shape clay into a vessel;
It is the space within that makes it useful.
Cut doors and windows for a room;
It is the holes which make it useful.
Therefore benefit comes from what is there;
Usefulness from what is not there."

Think about what supports you...think beyond just the wheel, and think about what makes it a wheel, etc...
