Radiologists are no joke. Most people who aren't educated for 15 years of higher learning tend to go into the latter of the two professions I described (commonly refered to as x-ray technicians). The pay is decent, but definitely not at the radiologist level.
yeah my friend makes 400k a year. He goes drinking with my fiancee's dad and deciphers x-rays on his computer sent to him while he's drinking.
It has its perks, but I am really gonna miss the illadelph. Philly has it's fair share of problems (just ask Jae), but it is one of the realest cities I have been to.
Trust me, life in FL is far different and better than Philly.
Give it some time and you'll see. I live between Miami and NY and honestly, I hate NY. The people are rude and seem to always be in a hurry when they dont need to be.

I've been to most of the country before but this time on my trip so far out of all the places I have been the rudest people have been in Boston, followed closely by NYC.
As soon as we got out of the NE people have been awesome. Tulsa was the friendliest, followed by Chicago and Raleigh.
Is she going to be a radiologist or a radiologic technologist?
typically being a radiologist requires 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of med school and and an additional several years of training. radiologic technologists only have to do either a 2 or 4 year program and can be right out of high school.
She's in a 2 year program to be a radiology technician.

when i visit my friend in indianapolis ( avon ) to me it seems like these people just stepped off a UFO. THey are extremely polite, friendly, and seem to be more interested in why I would want to live in NY instead of anywhere else.
I feel more at home in Miami though although its nice to walk to places vs always driving.
