I am living in West Palm Beach. Spent some time down here during the winter on a temporary work assignment. Well, it turned into a full time offer/promotion which made the move very attractive despite the hellacious summers.
Is she going to be a radiologist or a radiologic technologist?
typically being a radiologist requires 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of med school and and an additional several years of training. radiologic technologists only have to do either a 2 or 4 year program and can be right out of high school.
i got a friend who is a radiologist and he makes mad bank, but you'd have to be the top of your class to get into the radiology program.
Radiologists are no joke. Most people who aren't educated for 15 years of higher learning tend to go into the latter of the two professions I described (commonly refered to as x-ray technicians). The pay is decent, but definitely not at the radiologist level.
It has its perks, but I am really gonna miss the illadelph. Philly has it's fair share of problems (just ask Jae), but it is one of the realest cities I have been to.
