To me it has seemed like forever, and this is my 3rd house. I guess looking at it now, it hasn't been to bad, I just really needed to synch it up to the wedding, but now I don't even have to worry about that.

The current schedule is to have the house under tar paper by the 31st if the digging starts Thursday.

And there will definitely be pics of the whole process. Now that I will be dwelling that close, I can take pics every couple of hours when I need a break.

Yeah.. there's a guy on the bimmer board that documented his huge renovation. Basically more tha doubling his existing living space. He hired an omish team of woodworkers to frame up the construction. They were done in like a week/tyvek wrapped and ready to install roof tiles/siding

I would have to look at the schedule again, but I am fairly sure subfloor to under tar paper is 11 days on mine. Basement is 3 days, and then a couple of days to hang windows and doors.

yeah, thats damn quick. I wish I had the freedom to plan out even the lighting design. I think that's another project coming down my way and it's going to be a messy one.

Mine will be Superior Wall.

Best foundation out there. Costs a little more, but the benefits are off the charts.

LoL.

Superior Wall is preformed at a factory, has the metal studs already attached for running wiring and drywall, made with 5000 psi concrete (most stuff is 2000 psi), sets on a crushed stone foundation, guaranteed for life for water from the sides, and all my basement, garage, and porch walls will be set in 9 hours.

Closed last night, everything is a go now.

The excavator had to take another job before mine since it has taken so long for the bank to give the ok, so he will be on-site Tuesday morning, basement walls should be up by next Saturday evening at the latest.

Ordering the walls, subfloor, and trusses this morning, along with opening up accounts with the concrete and lumber distributor I am planning to use for the project.
