If you're so flush with cash throw it down on a downpayment and get a loan that way you have something to sell when it's payed off.

My goal is to buy a house, and I am cutting my expenses. Even putting $5000 down, would give me a 5 year loan payment in excess of what I am paying for the lease. Honestly, cars are a huge liability and I probably won't purchase one until I can pay cash. This way, I can eat the depreciation like a lease, and trade it in for what I want without a need to get a loan.

If you want to cut expenses, get a cheap car.

Not an option. In the near future when I start meeting with customers, I will need to portray a certain image. Rolling up in a used civic -- while fine with me, would be unacceptable. I hate saying that, but it's a reality and I am fairly compensated to drive a "nicer" vehicle.
