anyone dip or chew?
Dip is already mechanically ground up. Chew is coursely shreaded leaves that have to be "chewed" to release the majority of the flavor.
edit: honestly I don't know anybody that uses the "chew" method. I think the vast majority of smokeless tobacco sold in the states is sold in dip form.

my buddy was an army ranger sniper and he took up chew because that's all he could do while in country to not give away his location. He was a special forces 50 cal sniper and he and his spotter both chewed like the dickens cause it passed the time and took care of their nic-fix.
