psp go
No UMD drive, no sale. For me, the decision is just that simple.
I don't regret buying my PSP, but if I can't take the first-gen games along to the next platform, forget it.

No UMD drive, no xfer of current games or movies owned, smaller screen and cramped layout of controls makes it a terrible combination.
I suppose the opinion could change by the time I see it on the market and get to hold one but from first glance I would say fail.

Screw the UMD. Getting it hacked and converting movies to mp4 and playing them off the card is the way to go. Battery life is WAY better not spinning that damn disc. o:

Easy you just convert it to a format the PSP can read. It's been a while since I have done it but I have 4 movies on a mem stick that I converted a couple years ago and play on it. There are a couple of convertor programs out there for it for free too.
