I need a car v.pleasehelp

BTW, my friend rented a brand new altima with the CVT and completely destroyed it in about 300 miles. Granted, he was doing some really stupid shit, but yeah, that thing needed the tranny and brakes replaced before it hit 1000 miles
I can get more features from the Altima (which is plenty big for my needs), verses the Maxima. It is a nice car though.
Nissan is running a lease special of $199/mo for a 2.5s Altima, based on a total lease payment of $7,761. The Maxima lease special is $299/mo for an "S" trim model, based on a total lease payment of $11,661. I figure that the lease payment on a fully loaded Altima 3.5 SL will be in line with the Maxima, since its MSRP is about the same. If worse comes to worse, I can go without the navigation system which will defintely put me in my price range.
I am going to test drive it again. Although, it will be noticeably slower than a 3.5 Altima.
The buy-out price is based on the residual value of the car, as determined by the manufacturer at time of purchase. Since you purchase the entire lease contract through the swap-a-lease site, you assume the responsibility for mileage limitations and the option to purchase the vehicle at its residual value.

If I were shopping right now I'd probably go used. There is a lot of people who bought into the 'I need a gazillion ponypowers, blueteeths and a map thingy' that can't afford their current cars anymore
I've grown to hate the new one and more over time.
You deserve a car that is enjoyable to drive; the new TSX is a pig by comparison to the 328i.

Thankfully it's getting the 3.5 soon

It'll probably be the car I buy when my finances come into order and I get a more stable commute together (putting 750+ miles on a new car a week would make me cry)
The problem lies with it's electrically-driven power steering pump and the way it is programmed. It provides too much assist at any speed over 25 mph and it smothers most of the feedback through the steering wheel in the process. Go drive the new and old TSX back to back and you'll understand.
Dweezel, I apologize for thread-jacking.

All the V6 will do is put a band-aid on it's glacial acceleration.

With the lease special that BMW is advertising (it was previously $419/mo with similar capital cost reduction), it is MUCH more affordable than I originally anticipated. IMHO, the car drove better than anything else I have test driven, even at a sizable power disadvantage to the G37 and TL.
