mrfatboy....techno is techno....trance is trance...u can call it electronica but if u wonna call it electronica then a lot more things fall under that including drum and bass and junge and house and progressive and hardcore..and the list goes on...if u listen to them u'll find that techno and trance sound a lot different and techno and d&b would be foolish to compare...as well as trance and jungle... so what i'm saying its called electronica because that music basically doesn't use live instruments.....but just because techno and trance are both made on a synth doesn't meat they will sound a like
