i have been told that i've made an impact on several friends lives (in the church) and hope i have had some impact on lives where i have served in missions projects in the past. i would hope that i have also made an impact with my music while serving on the team at Grace, as well as in the future with a new musical project that i have joined.

also, part of the reason i joined the VFD is because i wanted the opportunities to serve people and to make an impact on their lives, and this is also the same reason i would love to be accepted to the police academy. i dont know what it is, im not much of a people person, and i think most people are idiots when i see them in public, but i have this desire to serve the public for the greater good.

i also have decided to take the test at the police academy this fall.. i have been putting it off for over a year now, because i wasnt sure how i'd fair with my hearing loss (im borderline), but decided the only way to know was to take it.

also if not this summer, i'd like to become a volunteer EMT through the local community college.

if all goes as planned, i will have plenty of opportunities (VFD, EMT, and possibly PD), and i can only hope i dont fail those involved in their time of need.
