Don't want to sound like an ad, but stats show only 8% of eligible donors in the US give blood, and of those that do donate, less than 30% donate again.

For the amount of people in the country who need blood for transfusions or emergencies, that is quite a deficit.

I was reluctant to donate again after my first time, but now every 8 weeks another blood drive starts here on base...it's become a good routine and the whole process doesn't bother me anymore.

Once a month? They recommend you wait at least 56 days between donations. But if that works for you, awesome.
