Default Wireless connection v secure network

Quick dilemma.. our wireless network is WPA protect, and when you search for wireless networks it shows up as such (on my pc and laptop).. but for my dads work laptop, the network appears as unsecure and he can connect to it with "limited or no connectivity".. anyone know whats up?

It's his work laptop and he has a VPN he uses for dial up, and can hook up via ethernet.. we've figured it out a few months ago but I can't remember what we did.

Thanks in advance!

it says "limited or no connectivity" because the DHCP has refused to issue it an IP address. He can't access the network or anything.

If you try to get on any secured network, and just type in the wrong key, it would come up like that.

Try going into your network setting, and deleting your network out of the list, reboot, and search for it again. It should come up secured, and type in your key, and you're in.
