I'd say when you can freely switch cars every 6 months or so, you'd be more middle-upper class.

my parents brought me to LA when i was only 1yr old. we were dirt fucking poor in the beginning. of course i didnt know or care what "rich/poor/avg" was when i was growing up though. i think i actually realized class differences when i hit high school. cuz thats when it hit me that my parents couldnt afford to buy me "nice expensive" clothes like some of the other kids. but it never bothered me... those preppy kids with "expensive" banana republic and jcrew clothes were lil bitches to me anyway. i was happy with my stolen anchor blue "baggy" jeans and khakis, swapmeet canvas belt with initial buckle, and generic button downs. LOL. my parents made really good money when i was in 4th grade, so we moved out of the ghetto then, but shit tanked and we moved back into a regular apartment right before 9th grade. to me, a nice house, neighborhood, didnt mean anything to me at the time. i just wanted to kickit with my friends and moving to a "better" place actually pissed me off. i was selfish and lived in my own lil ghetto bubble world. when my parents were forced to sell the house at the top of the mountain and move down to an apartment next to school, i was more happy that i got to be closer to my friends. :slap: i had no idea or concern of my parents mental and emotional stress that they were going through because of financial stress. sorry mom and dad. :hs:

my parents are now just average middle class. but theyre getting old and need to retire soon.

Middle to upper middle. My parents had their own business which was pretty successful at times, but nearly bankrupted us at one point.

But we usually lived in a house rather than an apartment and I don't remember going hungry at any point, so :hsdunno:
