But seriously, as long as you get hit in the rear, it can usually work in your favor since you could argue that the other driver was following too closely and you would have come to a complete stop if it wasn't for them hitting you.
also a cop shouldn't stop in the left lane of a highway. slowing down from 70 to 0 doesnt happen isntantly.

I pulled out all of the goodies that were in the car for sure, I also took my all weather VW mats that I bought for 100 bucks what whaaat! In all seriousness though I'm really glad everyone was basically scratch-free after this. I just went to the chiropractor and they said I have some inflammation in my neck but that's just about it. Thanks everyone for listening.

So the cop should have stopped on the right hand side of the highway, crossed dangerous traffic to get to the stranded car that was on the left side?
