Default Has anyone ever tried...

listening to music while they're sleeping?

I've certainly fallen asleep and woken up while my music was on before... A lot of the times I'd actually wake up more refreshed than usual. I don't know whether or not to attribute it to waking up to the music or that I'm subconsciously listening to it the whole time... or even just coincidence

Tonight I think I'll try sleeping with some music on, I'm going to use a mix of cool jazz, maybe some shoegaze stuff, nothing too fast or harsh... ideas?

No....but if I did, it would have to be something smooth and instrumental...no lyrics.

Yeah me too. I've been listening to a lot of jazz, dub, and atmospheric stuff lately... while I'm at it I figured I'd try this out

Even that's too noisy/busy...I'm talking super smooth...nothing with a "beat"

I feel like if it's repetitive enough that it won't be too much to listen to... I'm getting tired just listening to it

yeah, every night. I always listen to music while sleeping... drowns out all the other sounds. I pretty much always listen to music period.

it's really hard for me to sleep without music, except when i'm in a rut (when nothing sounds good)... can't relax just laying there.

It's really cool when you can hear the music in your dreams.

I do it on an almost nightly basis. Classical music entices the brain and allows for better learning the following day.

I either listen to music or have a movie on loop every night or I can't sleep.
