IMO picking out stocks is too much like gambling. I just pick an index fund and stick with it. S&P 500 in my case.

:edit: if you have time to research and knowledge of particular companies, picking stocks is OK, but I don't have time for that shit.

I just feel that GE has alot of positives If they get the financial branch of the company even slightly in check the stock will go way back up IMO
