I've tried a couple of the three round thing electric ones, decided they suck, and just use my mach 3.

i have to shave every day, since my facial hair grows too fast.

busting out the shaving cream and razors was a major pain in the ass.

i have a 100 dollar norelco from 6 years ago. yeah it misses hairs on the neck, but nothing a few extra passes wont solve.

other than that it works fine. i dont know why everyone seems to hate them so much.

Mach 3 even hurts my face when the hair gets too long. I have to knock it down with an electric

I got my dad the Phillips last Xmas. Not a big fan of it, it was close but not as close as my old Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer. Love that thing. Even great for shaving the sides of my head.

Probably because, well in my case, not only do they miss areas and not get as close, but for me, it feels like every hair is being plucked out of my face.

I use disposable cut throat razor. Won't turn back to anything else.

I use electric every day.

Saves time over cream and blade, plus I usually just trim to leave stubble.

I don't know what I use now, but I got it at target. It's not the same design as that.

And as for irritation, the first three weeks with any new electric shaver will make you break out and hurt until your skin gets used to it.
