Default xbox crew need some help.

got a hd tv finally. (used from friend).

so i went out and bought rocketfish hd component av cables tonight. get home. hook them up. and boom, the tv scrambles. took them all out, made sure switch was on hdtv. everything is hooked up right. only thing i can figure is the tv on hd is broken or else the cables suck.

You sure that the TV is HD? Does it require an HD tuner?

Change resolution in Xbox Settings. Settings/Console Settings/Tv Format.

You probably have it set to a higher resolution than your tv supports. Try 480i, 480p, 720i, then 720p, 1080i, ect.
Without HDMI, you can't use 1080p.

glad to have hdmi crew :wavey:

your TV should support most inputs though- maybe you have the wrong cables on the wrong inputs?
