Job Hunting FTL

more power to you
Best of luck to you, having legitimate skills though should help you find something eventually, even w/ things not looking so great.
Luckily things aren't looking so bad at my job lately, not as bad. Plus I've been working my ass off even more than usual in the hopes that if they cut hours again, it won't be mine. Fear is quite the motivator, although I could do w/o the stress.

i apply for jobs every day.
this one place emailed me back saying that they will be hiring people and would call me if they decided on me. then they emailed me again like a month later saying they filled all the positions, but if they have any more openings they'd me know. kind of gave me hope that the owner emailed me back after a month without me emailing her or talking to her

^ apply for things that are out of your element. If you're a xx type of engineering try applying for a xy job. Just because the requirements don't match anything you have done in the past a lot of technical/engineering positions require basic knowledge -- just highlight or organize your CV such that it reflects the description a little better. In the interview don't be afraid to mention your lack of specific knowledge but comment on your past work experience, how its influenced you to work in different situations, and your eagerness to fulfill their particular position (do some research so you can comment on where your skills would be useful).

supposedly getting an interview with liberty mutual in march :x:
i just graduated this december and have been looking the past couple months.
