Just something I'm curious about Hyundais. Most people that I know buy them because (besides the price issue) they have that amazing waranty that no other car company can touch. By modding up a Tiburon, do you void that waranty? If you add an I/H/E set up, does the waranty go out the window? I was just curious.

It varies. Depending on the dealership, they may void the warranty due to intake, header and exhaust. Personally I think that's :bs:, that a warranty should remain intact as long as there are no internal modifications. All you're doing is helping breathing.

Like I said, stupid noob, It was an I4. Big deal if you beat an I4. It has 136 bhp and it weighs more you ****ing retard. I have no doubt you beat it.

Try reading. It helps when you try to sound intelligent. Failed again.

I hope you're not saying he owned me cause that makes you as stupid as he is. Try reading my post. I never said he couldn't beat a "140 hp" Tib. I actually saif that it had to have been an I4 Tib, which it was, which actually has 136 hp. I have no doubt his weak ass Si can beat a weak ass I4 Tib.

Read before you speak.

I checked with my dealer and it only voids the warranty on the replaced parts.

I didn't buy it for the warranty anyways so I don't really care. By next year the warranty will be gone anyways. I have plans.

thats interesting....as I said earlier, my dad just bought an XG350 2 weeks ago, and they told us that if he put an aftermarket alarm on it, it would void the entire electrical waranty

i'm pretty sure anything that may slightly even effect the performance of any given system it will void the warranty i.e. i/h/e would void out the engine and possibly the drivetrain(they didn't "intend" for it to handle that much power when they warrantied it) and i can understand about the aftermarket alarm cuz it affects the electrical system(once again they didn't "intend" on it having to handle the extra load + what if you wiring it wrong and mess something else up)

and in response to hyundai's in general, you get what you pay for, a brand new car(which is gonna need that 10 yr drivetrain warranty so i suggest you don't void it out)
